Original Vuarnet Sunglasses

The first sunglasses of the French brand were born in 1957 in the workshop of a vanguard optician, passionate about skiing.
He invented Skilynx, a mineral lens with polarized technology to ensure a high level of protection, precision and durability. The sunglasses were originally marketed under the name of Skilynx Acier and were provided to the French ski team.
In 1960, French skier Jean Vuarnet won the gold medal at the Winter Olympics and the glasses began to be marketed using his name. Even today, the lenses are handcrafted in the factory located near Paris.
The glasses are distinguished in various styles:
- VintageStyle, with the most emblematic models of the brand used by actors and musicians;
- SportStyle, models designed with extremely light and ergonomic materials;
- LifeStyle, frames that combine technology, style and high quality finishes.
