Can contact lenses get lost behind the eye?

Although many people think that contact lenses can get lost behind the eye, this is just a complete myth!
It is physically impossible for a contact lens to get lost on the back of your eye.
There is a membrane that lines your eye right to the inside of your eyelids, creating a natural barrier to anything trying to get into your eyes.
So, if for any reason you think you had your contact lens in and suddenly don't see it in your eye or can't find it, don't panic!
It probably fell to the ground, or it might be between your eyelids.
If it's hidden in your eyelid, gently massage your eyelids until the contact lens reappears.
