What is Contactology?

Contactology is a specialty of Optometry that encompasses the study of the designs, manufacture and adaptation of contact lenses.

Its objective is to select the best option for each patient, from the vast range of existing contact lenses in our store today.

In practice, contactology consists of making a small foreign body for the eye, into an element as natural as possible, comfortable and capable of correctly compensating vision defects.

The adaptation of contact lenses should always be done by a professional, as contact lenses are medical devices and should be treated as such!
