Before ordering your Contact Lenses, you must know that they are Medical Devices and should only be used after an assessment by a vision specialist.

You can request an assessment at any of our stores.

After obtaining your Contact Lens Prescription, you can verify that it includes the necessary parameters for the order, such as Diameter, Powers, Base Curve, etc.

We now present an example of a Prescription. Note that each specialist may have different graphics, however, the data should be present, regardless of the graphics used.

We alert that, in most cases, the glasses prescription is different from the Contact Lenses prescription. If your prescription does not differentiate between glasses prescription or Contact Lenses prescription, it will be essential to adapt the contact lenses in a supervised manner and by a vision specialist. If you do not have a Medical Prescription for your Contact Lenses, and you have performed your medical evaluation less than 2 years ago, you can find the necessary parameters in the last packaging of Contact Lenses that you used.

We present 4 examples of Contact Lens boxes with the various parameters necessary for your order:

	CONTACT LENSES TO CORRECT MYOPIA (-) OR HYPERMETROPIA (+) This box refers to Contact Lenses only with Spherical Power (PWR) As the PWR is Negative (-), these lenses correct Myopia, difficulty in seeing well in the distance. If the PWR were Positive (+), the Contact Lenses would correct Hyperopia, difficulty in focusing well on close objects. These Contact Lenses have a Curvature Radius (BC) of 8.60 but this value may vary with each brand of Contact Lenses They also have a Diameter (DIA) of 14.20 but this value may vary with each brand of Contact Lenses.
	TORIC CONTACT LENSES TO CORRECT ASTIGMATISM This box refers to Contact Lenses with Spherical Power (D or PWR) and with Cylindrical Power (CYL) As the D is Negative (-), these lenses correct Myopia, difficulty in seeing well in the distance. If the PWR were Positive (+), the Contact Lenses would correct Hyperopia, difficulty in focusing well on close objects. The CYL value, in Contact Lenses is always Negative (-) and will correct Astigmatism The CYL Value is always accompanied by a value that varies from 0º to 180º and corresponds to the Axis (AXIS). It is at this axis that Astigmatism will be corrected. These Contact Lenses have a Curvature Radius (BC) of 8.50 but this value may vary with each brand of Contact Lenses They also have a Diameter (DIA) of 14.50 but this value may vary with each brand of Contact Lenses
	MULTIFOCAL OR PROGRESSIVE CONTACT LENSES This box refers to Contact Lenses with Spherical Power (PWR) and with ADDITION (ADD) for well seeing objects at all distances (Far, Intermediate and Near) As the D is Negative (-), these lenses correct Myopia, difficulty in seeing well in the distance. If the PWR were Positive (+), the Contact Lenses would correct Hyperopia, difficulty in focusing well on close objects. The ADD value in Contact Lenses is always Positive (+) and will correct the Presbyopia The ADD Value can have a numerical value (+1.00, +2.00, etc) or can have the nomenclature of LOW, MEDIUM (MED) or HIGH (HIGHT), depending on each brand of Contact Lenses. These Contact Lenses have a Curvature Radius (BC) of 8.60 but this value may vary with each brand of Contact Lenses They also have a Diameter (DIA) of 14.20 but this value may vary with each brand of Contact Lenses
	MULTIFOCAL OR PROGRESSIVE TORIC CONTACT LENSES FOR ASTIGMATISM This box refers to Contact Lenses with Spherical Power (PWR). Cylindrical Power (CYL) and with ADDITION (ADD) for well seeing objects at all distances (Far, Intermediate and Near) As the PWR is Positive (+), these lenses correct Hyperopia, difficulty in seeing well close. If the PWR were Negative (-), the Contact Lenses would correct Myopia, difficulty in focusing well on distant objects. The ADD value in Contact Lenses is always Positive (+) and will correct the Presbyopia The ADD Value can have a numerical value (+1.00, +2.00, etc) or can have the nomenclature of LOW, MEDIUM (MED) or HIGH (HIGHT), depending on each brand of Contact Lenses. In this type of Contact Lens you must indicate the Dominant Eye (D) and the Non-Dominant Eye (N). This information is usually after the ADD value. In this example, the chosen prescription is for the Dominant Eye (D). This information should be requested from your vision specialist. The CYL value, in Contact Lenses is always Negative (-) and will correct Astigmatism The CYL Value is always accompanied by a value that varies from 0º to 180º and corresponds to the Axis (AX). It is at this axis that Astigmatism will be corrected. These Contact Lenses have a Curvature Radius (BC) of 8.40 but this value may vary with each brand of Contact Lenses They also have a Diameter (DIA) of 14.40 but this value may vary with each brand of Contact Lenses
